13 months

I have been slacking so bad. It has been awhile since I have posted anything. Dylan is getting so big. He is such a funny little boy. I love him so much. He loves running around. His favorite place in the house is the bathroom. He loves to open and close the door. I don't know what his fascination is with it. :) He loves me to read to him. He has loved books from day one. His new favorite book is the Foot Book. He could have me read that book all day long if I would. I have the book memorized now so all I have to do is repeat it and he is happy. :) I can hide that book and the next thing I know he has found it and bringing it to me to read. Dylan is talking so much.  He has a very large vocabulary for his age. He loves to repeat words so I have to be careful. His new words are "All done" My favorite thing he says is my sisters name Angela. It is so cute how he says it. He says cat and then meows. He baas like a sheep and he is trying to figure out how to make more animal sounds. His quacking is improving. I am so proud of him! Dylan loves to brush his teeth. He gets so excited when I tell him "time to brush your teeth".  He is getting better at brushing them by himself. I feel so blessed to have him, he has reached so many milestones and he keeps growing each and everyday.

I have been going through and looking at posts that I have written months ago and never posted. So if your wondering what is going on that is what I am doing.:0) Also if anyone has any ideas of how I can get my comments to work please email me and let me know. Everyone keeps telling me they cant post any comments so let me know if you know what I can do to fix it. I feel like I have tried everything.

almost 8 months

My baby boy is getting so big.  It has been awhile since I have posted anything.  Easter was so much fun!  We went to my parents house where they have a HUGE egg hunt.  Dylan was so cute! He picked up the eggs and put them in his basket. It was amazing he knew what to do.

 Whew I think the title says it all. Dylan is growing so much everyday. These past few weeks I feel like he has grown so much. He started walking without support and it has been so much fun.  He is improving more and more everyday.  Dylan's favorite word to say is "Dada" It is so cute when he says it. I can't wait until he says more words. Dylan has gotten a mouth full of teeth and now he is getting more teeth on the bottom. He is starting to bite and has left a bruise on my arm. I can't believe he is going to have 8 teeth soon.  The other night he woke up with a high fever and a cough. We took him into the Dr and he has an ear infection. it seems like last time he was getting his two bottom teeth he got an ear infection. These bottom teeth are just plan mean!!

Bike

For Easter we got Dylan a little Vtech bike. It is nice because it can grow with him up to the age of 3. He loves getting on it when he watches Super Why.  Its such a blurry picture, but he was moving so fast.

GrOwInG uP!!

I know I always say this, but honestly time flies and Dylan is growing up TOO fast!  He LOVES walking!  He is not quit steady on his feet, but as long as he has something to hold onto he is walking everywhere. I turn around for 2 seconds and he has pulled himself up on the couch and is walking around.  It makes me happy and scared at the same time.  We bought him some new tooth paste for his 6 pearly whites. He loves getting his teeth brushed!  He got his top 4 teeth in all at the same time. I was so glad when they all pushed through. 2 weeks of sleepless nights were hard on me! Dylan has a favorite show it is called Super Why.  I had the TV on one day for a few minutes and he saw that cartoon and was getting so excited. We now watch that show as part of our morning routine. I feel like a bad mom where I vowed I would never let my child watch TV until they were 5. He amazes me everyday with all of his new developments. I feel so blessed to have such an amazing son.  I love him more then anything.  I am so proud to be his mommy!    

Pocatello

Ben has been on call a lot so we haven't been able to take any vacations this summer. We decided we needed a little get away and where Ben can't go too far from work we decided to go to Pocatello. They have a zoo and Dylan LOVES animals and is so fascinated with the sounds they make so we decided another zoo trip would be fun. None of us had been to this zoo and had no idea what to expect. I have to admit Tautphus zoo is WAY nicer, but I LOVED all the beautiful scenery in Pocatello.  It was a nice hike. The coyote was so cute. It was so friendly!  It was a nice get away. Hopefully soon we can go on some of our vacations we have planned. :)
