weight

I am so proud of Ben. He has been on a diet the last 2 weeks and has lost 40 lbs so far. I wish I could loose that much that fast. I am back down to my weight that I was when I first got pregnant. I can't fit into my normal jeans. Grrr... Oh well Dylan is worth it. He is 4 weeks old today and is growing so fast. He has the cutest personality and is developing so much. He will grab onto my fingers and pull himself up and he is starting to smile. I love his new facial expressions. Whenever I open my mouth really big he will do the same. It makes me laugh. He is now on a schedule which I like. He goes to bed around 10 and wakes up every 2-3 hours to be fed and changed, he does this up to 9-10 in the morning. Then he is wide awake and wants to play. He then takes a 2 hour nap from 1-3pm. He wakes up plays and then takes another nap around 5-7. Wakes up and goes back to bed at 930. It is pretty nice. I don't mind it. I am starting to get use to waking up every few hours. I miss being able to just wake up when my body is ready though. I love my son and so thankful for him.

cleaning out the closet

Yesterday we had to take Dylan back into the Dr to get him weighed. He hasn't been gaining weight like he should be. When he was born he was 7lbs13oz when he left the hospital he was 7lbs 3oz. Yesterday he was 7lbs15oz. I am so happy he finally passed his birth weight. Today I took all of his newborn clothes and packed them away. I am sad because he is getting bigger but happy because he gets to start wearing his cute 0-3month clothes even though they are still going to be big on him. I will be sad when he grows out of that size because I have a TON of cute clothes for him in that size. I love my little man and so thankful that the lord has trusted me enough with such a preciouse child of God.

3 weeks

Tomorrow Dylan will be 3 weeks old. I can't believe how fast time is going. It's amazing how much I love him more and more each day. He is starting to stay awake more and I love it! He is so much fun! I do miss my sleep though. I am so thankful that Bens work lets him only come in for a couple of hours and then let him leave so he can come help me and let me take naps. Thank goodness for being on salary. Today I took Dylan into Bens work to show him off. Dylan was so cute and good. He was wide awake for most of the time. I feel so blessed to have such a good baby.

Hospital pix!

I can't believe it has been a week since we had our little miracle. He is so amazing. He is such a good baby. He sleeps 5 hours straight at night then I change and feed him and he is out for another 3 hours. I LOVE it. I hope he continues to sleep so well at night. We love our little guy more then anything. Yesterday he went in for his circumsision. I was already crying an hour before the procedure. Ben gave Dylan a blessing. We went in and there was a lady that was getting her son done also. Her and I had the baby the same day and she was my next door neighbor in the hospital. It was funny becausse she was asking me if my baby cried all the time. I was like no, but the nursery was right across the hall and you could hear every little baby cry. It was awful! I didn't sleep well at all. I was in the hospital 4 nights due to the C section plus the procedure they had to do they night before Dylan was born. It still seems like a dream. I think its because I was all drugged up. I HATE being on pain pills because I don't remember anything on them. I was off the strong drugs 2 days after the C section. I feel great and I don't know why people say that c sections are so hard. I LOVED it!

Welcome to the world Dylan Jamison Hare!

Dylan arrived Thursday morning September 2 at 8:54 a.m. Weighing 7lbs 13 oz and 20 3/4 inches long. He is so perfect! We love him so much. Wednesday night I had to go in to see if they could get me to dialate. The next morning when the doc came in and said that I wasn't dropping or dialating so he said that we would have this baby at 8:30 C section. We got the epederal. I was SO scared, but didn't feel anything. It was great. Everything went SO well and I had very little recovery pain. We love having him home and is fun to see him grow. We are finally starting to get on a normal schedule. It has been hard where I have had to take pain pills do to the surgery. I am off of the pain meds now and just taking Tylenol when needed. Ben is so cute with the baby. He has been so helpful around the house and taking care of Dylan. I am so impressed at how wonderful of a daddy he is. I LOVE my boys SO much. We took Dylan in for his 5 day check up. He is weighing 7lbs 3oz. We had his circumsicion scheduled for Thursday but his Dr told us if he doesn't gain any weight by Thursday we are going to have to reschedule. I pray that he can gain some weight.
