Almost 31 weeks

I went to the DR today. Everything is looking good. I have gained 4 lbs in 2 weeks. I couldn't believe it since last time I went in and only gained 2 lbs in a month. I just pray I don't gain anymore for awhile. Dylans heart beat is strong, my blood pressure is good and he is measuring like he is suppose to be. We finally have Bens office moved downstairs so it is time to wash walls and paint. My mom is coming over and painting the room for me. I am so thankful for her for doing that. We ordered the bedding and the crib the other day and can't wait for it to get here. We decided to go with a different bedding. I really wanted the argyl, but I didn't really want to spend 250 dollars on bedding. I will post pictures once everything is all put together. 9 more weeks to go. YAY!!!

I have been debating on how to do Dylans room. I think I may have changed my mind and I am going to do it in blue and tan argyl.

29 weeks prego!

I am 29 weeks pregnant today and still not showing very much. The DR says that is normal where I am so tall. I have more room for him to hide in. I think he is in my back, it has been hurting SO bad. I hate it!!

Getting the Nursery started

So I have been nagging Ben for awhile to start moving the exercise stuff out of the spare room so we could turn it into his office. I want to get everything out of his office downstairs so we can get the nursery set up. I only have 10 weeks left and feel like we have SOO much to do. I feel like he thinks we still have years to go. It makes me crazy because I am not suppose to lift alot and I want to get it done now! Ben finally got the exercise stuff out of the room today. I took pictures on his phone and he ended up deleting them thinking they had already been sent to my gmail so I will have to take more pictures and put them on my phone so they don't get deleted. Anywho, I am excited that it is starting to come together. I pray that we will be able to get things taken downstairs soon!!!! We are going to paint the nursery a light tan color. I am going to cut out blue, brown and white vinyl circles and place around the room with cute other wall hangings. I can't wait to get the crib and changing table in there. We have a tan lazy boy that is going in there. I found a large rug that I want to buy to put on the hard wood floor. It is brown with blueish teal circles. I have debated on changing the coloring scheme around and doing a sea foam green color in there instead of the baby blue. I have to see though ugh it is getting soo close and I feel like I have SOOOO much to do still. AHHHHHHH!!!!!

Happy 5 Years!!!

Yesterday Ben and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary. I am so thankful for him. He does so much for me. (probably because I nag him all the time) We had a really fun night. Ben had to work until 5 last night. I hate his job most days! Anyway, I went and picked him up at 1 and we went to lunch. We just went to Burger King and grabbed a burger. So romantic huh? Anyway we ate lunch and talked in the car. The weather has been so crappy! We were planning on going to the cabin in Island Park. It has been raining and freezing there so we decided we would stay home and set up the tent down in the basement. We had bought a new tent last year to go camping, but that never panned out due to me. Hey, I would rather go to the cabin. That is my kind of camping. :) After dropping Ben off back at work I went home thinking " hey I could put a tent up all by myself ". HAHAHAH boy was that a big joke! I got the tent out of the garage and took it out of the package. I guess I should have measured how much room I had downstairs. Since we got the new sectional we dont have as much room. So I take the tent and start spreading it out and it just keeps going and going. I was like holy heck how big is this thing? Needless to say I gave up and drug it upstairs. I gave up on the whole idea of putting the tent up inside. So Ben gets home from work and I am not very happy because my big suprise of getting the tent up was ruined and didn't pan out. So we decided to go out for dinner. I was craving pancakes so we went to Perkins. I am such a party pooper these days. We were going to go somewhere nice but hey, forget steak and Lobster give me pancakes and I am happy. I felt bad because I was screwing up all of our plans. Mmm and now I am craving pancakes once again ugh! So anyway, we decide we are going to go to a movie, well I am full and would rather just go home and watch a movie. I know I am lame. So, we get home and instead of going downstairs to watch a movie on the big screen I decide lets just watch a movie on the 32" in the bedroom. So we get all the munchies for the movie and lay down to watch the movie. Well no longer then 20 minutes later I am passed out asleep. I still had fun I just feel bad that I am always tired and grumpy. It is a good thing Ben understands and is really sweet about it. So this morning at 8 Ben brings me breakfast in bed and decide we are going to have a fun day today. It doesn't matter what day your anniversary is as long as you are happy and in love that is all that matters. So Happy Anniversary Ben I love you!!!! Next week we will go to the cabin when the weather is nicer and have Sch'mores and hot dogs.

2 lbs really?

I just got back from the baby DR. Everything is going great! I was so worried I had gained like 10 lbs this month since I have been eating a TON! When I got on the scale I was shocked, I had only gained 2 lbs. My husband thinks I am nuts because I want to have a big belly and gain some weight. I havn't gained much and that is ok. They said I am right on track and that I shouldn't worry. The baby is measuring like he should be. I start going every 2 weeks now. I hope this will make time go by a little faster. I cant wait to get the room finished. This is how I am doing his room.

We stayed the week in Vegas. It was so much fun! We saw so many cool things and ate wonderful food. I miss the weather there. Here are some of the fun memories.

The day we were flying out we got some bad news that Bens grandfather had passed away. He is very much missed but we know he is in a better place.

Fishing!

This is my cat Cinder. She LOVES the fish in our tank. The other day was so cute! She jumped up on my lap and started pawing at the glass. The best part about it is the fish absolutly LOVE her. We have about 25 fish and whenever they see her they all swim over to her. They follow her back and forth. It is so cute to watch. I will have to post a video of her dancing in front of the fish tank and the fish trying to get her. It's great entertianment. :)

My cat is thinking she is the baby.

I have been trying to get the baby stuff all washed and put together. My cat Shadow has discovered the baby car seat. I had just got it all put back together (which was a pain) when I had this feeling to put a blanket in it. Luckily I did because not more then 45 minutes later my cat had a new bed. She is so stinking cute!

20 Week ultrasound!

The pictures aren't the best, I should have scanned them into the computer. I was lazy and just took pictures of them on my phone. I am such a slacker, once we do the 30 week ultrasound I will be better at posting pics! Proof that he is a boy! He did not want to show us this at all. We were there for an hour and a half while the DR pushed and prodded on my belly. He was really cute though! He would cover his face with his hands and then he would wave to us like he knew we were watching him I think if his hands weren't so webbed he would have given us the finger. He was NOT happy with the DR pushing on him. (I didn't really like it either)

28 weeks pregnant!

So I feel totally fat now! I am 28 weeks pregnant and starting to show in my belly a little. I feel like I am showing more in my arms, legs and butt.

We are excited we finally got a first name picked out. It is Dylan. I love him so much! I love feeling him move all around and kicking me. :)

I am now done with work for the summer and the nesting has began. I am trying to get everything all ready for his nursery. We are moving Bens office downstairs so we can make his current office into the nursery. I can't wait until it's all finished.
