40 weeks and 2 days
I went to the Dr today and I still have not dialated. The Dr wants me to go into the hospital tomorrow evening and they will put something in me to try to get the baby to drop and me to start dialating. If I havn't had the baby in 12 hours I will be having a C section. I didn't realize how scared I would be. I have been waiting for this for so long and now I am like wait I want just a few more weeks to just do whatever. I am excited just affraid that I am not going to be a good mom. I pray he is healthy and that there will be no complications. Wish me luck!

39 weeks
Oh my goodness it is really going to happen anytime now. It has seemed like 39 weeks has taken forever to get here. I swear time has slowed down, but then again it really seems like it has kind of gone fast. We go into the Dr tomorrow. We are planning on being induced on the 27th. This Friday. I feel like I am not ready, but then again I should feel ready. It seems over the weekend my house gets so trashed so I really should be cleaning it again. My goal is to have everything cleaned and put away before baby gets here. Today we are going to go car shopping. We want to trade in our Buick and get a new SUV. We have only had that car for a year and a half. We still LOVE the Buick, but want something newer and larger that we can tow a trailer with. I will be sad to get rid of it because it has taken us so many fun places. We are going to fix up our white olds so Ben can drive it. I LOVE that car too. I wonder what we will end up with. Hmmm......

Dylan Jamison Hare
On August 3rd Dylan wanted to come join the world, but the Dr stopped him. They stopped him so well now he doesn't want to come out. I still have 12 days until my due date, but they can't tell if I have dialated. They were able to tell at the hospital when I went but that was PAINFUL!!! He is turned so I am glad about that. :) I feel bad because I am loosing patience and need to realize not all babies come early. It just seems like everyone elses does. It will be good that he is not to early though. He will be healthier staying in there until his due date. Next week I talk to the Dr about being induced. That is crazy to think that next week is my last appointment until the babies due date. WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally finished!

I finally put the last touches on the nursery. YAY!! I had fun cutting out vinyl and putting it up. I put his name up above his crib, but the wall still needs something. It is rather bare still. I will figure something out I am sure. I am so excited and can't wait until he is here. Not much longer to go. :) YAY!!!!!

Hospital

Yesterday I went in for my 36 week check up. I was really sick when I woke up and didn't want to go to my appt. I went anyway! I got in the room and told the nurse that I am really sick today. I have been having contractions and so they wanted to check to see if I was dialated. The Dr then let me know I tested positive for the strep test they did the week before. This was not turning out to be a great day. They checked and couldn't tell if I was dialated so they told me they wanted me to go into the hospital and have a stress test done. At this point I was wishing I would have just rescheduled my appointment. I called Ben at work to see if he could go with me. It seems like the 2 appts he has missed something goes wrong. :( He left work and was able to meet me at the hospital. I had to call my sister because she was saying I was going to have the baby on the 3rd of August. I knew I wasn't going to have the baby yet though. I go into my test and the nurse starts getting really worried. I was like umm okay what is going on. She keeps telling me I am having contractions. I am like well yeah, but they don't hurt. She tells me she has to call the Dr so I am now starting to panic. She comes back a few minutes later with an IV. They take some blood and then hook me up to some fluids. My contreactions start getting worse and lasting 1 minute long every 4-5 minutes. They give me a shot to help the contractions to start. They tell me that this med will make my heart race and make me feel yucky. So now I am thinking this day really just sucks! They give me the medication and the contractions stop for about 10 minutes. The Dr told them to check to see if I was dialated. I was like not this again. Sure enough I was only dialated to a 1. Then all of a sudden here comes a contraction. It lasted for a minute, but then my contractions started coming about every 10 minutes and then every 5. They had to call the Dr back and he said to just give me another bag of fluids and another shot and send me home. I was so glad after 4 hours to hear that. Ben and I thought for sure Dylan was going to arrive that day. During the IV Ben realized that the room we were attached to was the operating room. They were doing a C section it was so cool! We could hear everything. I told Ben to time how long it took for the baby to come out. No less then a minute later we hear a brand new baby screaming. Oh my gosh I got all emotional and I think I was crying as much as the new mom. Anyway I finally got to go home 4 1/2 hours later. I am still having contractions. They told me they wont stop the contractions from coming next week where he will be full term.

I LOVE clearance

My sister-in-law Tia called me today letting me know that Target had some baby items in back that were 75% off. She is a manager there. She said they were going to stick them out on the floor soon so to come get them if I wanted. I was really sad because we dropped my car off at the car dealership today to get detailed. So I was carless. So she came and picked me up. I was able to get a really cute High chair for $17.00 and a matching pack and play for $22.00. It saved me so much money. I am so happy! We needed a pack and play for when we leave to Boise in October. The high chair we could have waited on, but the deal was to0 good. So thank you Tia for letting me know!
